Description

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to enhance our engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structures that are essential to our clients. This role demands technical excellence, innovative thinking, and a strong commitment to safety and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong preference for experience in the oil and gas industry.

  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro, or similar.

  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Passion for sustainability and innovation in engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural components of oil and gas facilities, including platforms, rigs, tanks, and pipelines, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and cost-effective.

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with other project elements.

  • Conduct structural inspections and assessments of existing facilities, recommending modifications or repairs to ensure longevity and compliance with regulations.

  • Utilize advanced simulation and modelling tools to predict structural behaviour under different conditions.

  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-friendly execution of structural projects.

  • Engage with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and ensure projects meet all legal and environmental standards.

  • Ensure adherence to the company's safety programs including ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Safety & Health Management System and ISO 37001 AMBS systems and procedures.

  • Stay informed about technological advancements and industry trends related to structural engineering and sustainability.

  • Actively participate in bi/tender process involving the company in private and public bids/tenders, supporting and submitting a CV as part of the bidding processes.
