HR Intern - (Opportunity for University students and recent High school graduates!)

We are offering an exciting paid internship opportunity for motivated individuals interested in building a career in Human Resources. As an HR Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in HR operations, employee records management, recruitment support, and general HR administration. This internship will provide exposure to essential HR practices in a professional and supportive environment.

Working Hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday) and 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Saturdays)

Duration: 6 months with confirmation of employment after.

• A minimum of five CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English. Or currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong interest in developing a career in HR.

• Proficiency in Google Office Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an asset.

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• Professional, reliable, and eager to learn.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Learn how to maintain and update employee records (both digital and paper-based).

• Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings, application screening, and interview scheduling.

• Gain experience in HR documentation such as contracts, memos, and internal communication.

• Support payroll preparation by compiling attendance, leave, and overtime records.

• Respond to staff inquiries and learn how HR supports employee relations.

• Assist in coordinating training sessions and employee engagement activities.

• Observe HR compliance processes and labor regulation requirements.

• Provide general administrative support to the HR Department.

• Any other task or duties assigned by the HR Manager.
