To support the Cook and Head Cook in food preparation, kitchen operations and snack distribution while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene.
At least three (3) subjects, CXC or Four (4) years of secondary education.
Certification from a recognized cooking institution would be an asset
· Assist the Cook and Head Cook in cutting up of and pre-preparation of ingredients for the cooking of meals, particularly meats
· Assist in packing & distributing snacks
· Washing up of pots, pans, utensils and cleaning of kitchen surroundings including freezer and storeroom
· Ensure strict standards of safety & hygiene are promoted & adhered to in the canteen
· Ensure all tasks and activities are conducted following the company's established safety standards and procedures
· Engage in continuous improvement by adhering to and participating in the ISO quality system, its processes, and activities; and by promoting and leading technology adoption and change management.
Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time-to-time

MACORP was established by being awarded by CATERPILLAR as the only Authorized Caterpillar Dealer in Guyana. The bid of MACORP was selected from several other Companies’ bids. Companies with long and proven experience as dealers of CATERPILLAR and other manufacturers’ product line of heavy equipment. In 2018, MACORP celebrated 25 years of service to Guyana.
