Description

The position is for a Supply Chain Manager, who have experience in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry. Principal responsibilities consists of planning, organizing, and carrying out large-scale projects. In this position, you will review data and enact a plan to make improvements to the supply chain system and perform other relevant tasks pertaining to this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field; Masters degree preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience as a manager, supervisor, or similar relevant position in supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Improve the Supply Chain Department's overall performance by examining current practices and procedures and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws, and regulations.

  • Create efficient databases in close collaboration with the IT Department to manage and arrange warehouse inventory.

  • Implementing logistic strategies, and tracking goods from the origination point to the warehouse.

  • Train and instruct supply chain team members.

  • Maintain cordial and professional relationships with vendors while advancing the goals and values of the company.

  • Find and investigate the least expensive shipping methods.

  • Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance, and maintaining cost-effective practices

  • Maintain a thorough record of the available inventory and expected utilization for each project to organize and manage the inventory.

  • Research potential partners' companies and try to negotiate best-price contracts in order to improve business revenue.

  • Plan and execute supply chain optimization projects.
