Library/Technical records staff are under the supervision of the Technical Records Supervisor and is responsible for the general records keeping of all aircraft and aeronautical products maintained by GMSI
At least 5 CXC Subjects
Must have 1+ year experience in similar field
Must be computer literate
Must be able to work flexible hours (Would be an asset)
Maintain an efficient and orderly records keeping system
Ensure that the general area of the library/technical records office is clean, tidy, properly, illuminated, ventilated, drafted and dust free and under controlled temperature
Prepare and issue maintenance work packs for all schedule maintenance inspection (SMIs), Out-of-Phase Inspections, Modification, Major Repairs, Airworthiness, Directives, Service Bulletins, etc
Ensure all work packs have a cover sheet indicating the contents of the work pack and an area for the signature of the MS receiving pack
Check work packs returned after maintenance activities for accountability of all documents issued, damage, proper entries, CRS, Require signature and dates
Ensure that statutory and technical logbooks entries are entered properly and in a timely manner by after maintenance activities
Check and calculate flight times, landing, and cycle (as applicable) in aircraft technical logbook and ensure that any discrepancies are corrected, initialed properly
Calculate flight times, total time, landing and cycles (as applicable) and make entries in the aircraft, engine, propeller logbook
Update the component record data regularly
