Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, planning, and overseeing the engineering, construction, and maintenance of our clients' infrastructure projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to sustainable development principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional engineering (PE) certification is a plus.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the oil and gas sector.

  • Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and commitment to sustainable engineering practices.

  • Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze various infrastructure projects, including site grading, drainage, paving, and other civil works for the construction, engineering, oil and gas and other sectors.

  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, geologists, and project managers, to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.

  • Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess potential project sites and identify engineering solutions that minimize environmental impact.

  • Manage the procurement of materials and oversee the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and by safety standards.

  • Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in sustainable development and incorporate best practices into project designs.

  • Ensure workers on project sites work under the company's ISO 9001 Quality Standard, ISO 45001 Occupational Safety and Health Management and ISO 37001 ABMS standards/procedures.

  • Actively participate in bids and tenders for private and public tender processes, including submitting detailed Curriculum Vitae as part of bids and tenders involving the company.
