We are seeking a proficient AutoCAD Technician to join our engineering team. This individual will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D designs of road structures, building structures, and other related infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD software with exceptional skills in drafting, design, and modelling to support our project needs.
Associate degree or certification in AutoCAD, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with AutoCAD in a professional setting, specifically with experience in drafting roads and building structures.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 2D and 3D modelling capabilities.
Familiarity with engineering principles and construction processes, especially related to oil and gas industry infrastructure.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in creating and reviewing technical drawings and designs.
Good communication skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D and 3D designs and drawings of road structures, building structures, and other infrastructure projects using AutoCAD software.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Update and revise existing drawings and designs to reflect modifications and improvements.
Ensure all designs and drawings meet industry standards, company guidelines, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Manage and organize all AutoCAD documents, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and updates to AutoCAD designs and drawings.
Stay abreast of the latest AutoCAD software updates and techniques to enhance design efficiency and quality.
