This Procurement Specialist will handle sourcing and supplier management for a hotel, restaurant, and bar. The role involves developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with both domestic and international suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality inventory.
● High school certificate including five (5) CSES subjects or equivalent required.
● Bachelor’s Degree in Supply chain management, or equivalent.
● Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or sourcing role, with a strong preference for experience within the hotel, restaurant, or bar industry.
● Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, Buyer, or similar role, must have experience within the hotel, restaurant, or hospitality sector.
● Knowledge of both local and international supplier bases.
● Strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including product seasonality, quality standards, and market pricing.
● Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
● Proficiency with procurement software and inventory management systems
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
Skills & Competencies:
● Deep knowledge of the hotel, restaurant, and bar supply chain, including food and beverage sourcing.

● Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key categories, including but not limited to food and beverage, dried goods, meat and sea food, kitchen equipment,linens, cleaning supplies, furniture, and operational supplies.
● Identify, vet, evaluate and onboard new suppliers that meet our quality standards,ethical guidelines, and operational needs and build strong relationships with adiverse range of suppliers both domestic and international.
● Lead and participate in all vendor negotiations to secure the best possible pricing,terms, and service level agreements (SLAs).
● Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and favorable terms.
● Monitor contract performance and expiration dates, initiating renegotiation or new sourcing cycles as needed.
● Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, pricing, and new product innovations.
● Manage and maintain a robust database of approved vendors and product catalogs.
● Work to reduce costs without compromising on quality or service standards.
● Collaborate closely with hotel general managers, executive chefs, and bar managers to understand their specific needs and procurement requirements.
● Work closely with the procurement buyer and manager to ensure POs are processed in a timely manner with the correct requirements.
● Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure a consistent and reliable supply chain, minimizing stock outs.
● Resolve any issues related to supplier performance, product quality, or delivery delays.Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
● Utilize procurement software and systems to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
