Human Resource Assistant
The ideal candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated. The HR Assistant is an important liaison between management and staff and external benefit vendors in enhancing the employee experience. The position reports to the HR Manager.
While preference may be given to an applicant with HR experience, the successful applicant must also have a clear grasp of local labour laws, possess high level interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Education & Experience
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Management or a related field or evidence of an appropriate combination of education and experience in the Human Resources field.
2. Excellent working skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The HR Assistant will complement the work of the HR Team and will be directly responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operational management of the department in carrying out the various administrative functions including recruitment, retention and HR compliance issues. In addition, the HR Assistant will on occasions be required to provide short term cover for the Office Receptionist, and perform any other general administration functions that may be allocated from time to time.
