Specialist NDT Technician
Job LocationGeorgetown, Guyana
Education, Training and Work Qualifications: Valid certification in NDT to Level 2 (Personal Certification in Nondestructive Testing [PCN], Society of Nondestructive Testing [SNT], Certification Scheme for Welding Inspection Personnel [CSWIP]) in one or more of the basic methods (Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Testing (MT)) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Electromagnetic Testing/Eddy Current Testing (ET) or Radiographic Testing (RT)/Radiographic Interpretation (RI).
Plus recognised PCN or CSWIP qualification in Phased Array (PA) and / or Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) and other recognised Specialist NDT methods as accepted by MInteg; Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Rope Access Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification; Offshore Medical (UKOOA) (and where required additional medical certification such as Ionising Radiation medical, Confined Space medical etc.); Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST); Basic Offshore Safety Induction Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET); Bi-Deltoid measurement
Demonstrated industry experience of In-service Inspection/NDT relevant to appropriate sector of industry
To carryout Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) scopes of work allocated by the Onshore Operations Department or Offshore point of contact.
Supplementary duties falling within competence in support of Client Operations.
