The Indo-Caribbean Society (ICS) is a non-profit organization which was established in 2018 to build the connections between the present and future economic, social and cultural environments. It encourages the growth of interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research. This project was initiated by a team from the Texila American University and interest groups from the Caribbean region.
Associates degree/diploma in Marketing or Management
Minimum three (3) years of work experience preferably in sales, marketing, events, promotion
An excellent speaker with the ability to persuade
Must be outgoing, social and tech-savvy
An ability to think critically and innovatively
ICS Manager is required to perform the following duties and undertake the following responsibilities in a professional manner:
Administrative and Development
Act as the Committee Secretary to the Committees related to ICS
Co-ordinate and Manage contact with all external and internal stakeholders
Accompany the Chapter Coordinator to prospective members/organization meetings
Attend and conduct professional development seminars, webinars and meetings
Attend ICS’s Council and General Meetings and other meetings as required.
To perform other tasks as assigned by the Board.
Membership and Promotion
Execute tasks associated activities in relation to membership retention
Increase Membership by, at minimum, 10 members per month, and achieve 99 percent retention of members for the year
Ensure all membership records are up-to-date on all platforms
Work with the Chapter Coordinator to develop programs that will increase membership
Undertake at least 4 initiatives monthly related to membership retention.
Acknowledge and respond to all member’s inquiries within 24 hours of receipt and inform from the Board or Chapters
Work with the Chapter Coordinators to draft a Marketing Plan for the ICS
Admin and Monitor all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Website (via Global Office)
Ensure appropriate coverage and publicity of all events
Explore new avenues of promoting the ICS across Caribbean
Will be discussed at the interview
