Description

American Services Group, a Canadian Company, establishing operations in Georgetown Guyana in September, is seeking an Office Manager to direct all functions of our offshore office operations.

As a fast growing company, the individual will have to be able to quickly learn the company system, be able to provide effective feedback to areas of concern on a regular basis, develop and implement new and existing day to day office work levels, and to be able to implement changes on their own and in a quick turnaround pace.

Performance review will also be a responsibility of the OM for their staff, to make sure the staffs is performing to the optimal performance level.  Completion of work tasks is crucial for this role, and candidates will be required to make sure they can meet this expectation.

The hours of work will be based on our Canadian Operations Schedule Monday to Friday 9a.m to 5p.m and work under Canadian Work Calendar.  The individual will have to be able to remotely report and work with our Canadian office managers and operations managers when required.

 

 

 

 

Requirements

Individuals applying for this position should:

- Have exceptional organization skills

- Complete tasks on a timely basis

- Communicate with management through various methods at all times

- Have a high quality of customer service skills

- Communicate with staff on all levels quickly and effectively

- Have computer skills; Microsoft, Word, Excell

- Have Accounting background will be an asset

 

This individual will also have to have skill set to:

- Train staff when needed

- Discipline when needed

- Be able to maintain an effective environment of good team-ship and quality control.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include hiring, motivating and training an administrative staff in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, data entry and Service Scheduling; bottom line results, with a strong emphasis on managing a budget and maintaining the location's accounts receivable goal percentages each month.
