Education and Experience
First level college degree preferably in international trade, customs related subjects, nautical sciences.
5 years working experience in the Shipping Industry, previous experiences as operations coordinator.

Implements procedures to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.
Ensures customers cargo is delivered in a timely manner.
Maintains relationships with our Principals and Agents’ Port Captains and vessels’ Masters for a smooth vessel arrival, operations and departure with in the schedule time.
Follow up on the emails received and sent by the shipping agents to the client.
Verify that the requirements of the Client (Captain, Shipowner and Charterer) have been met in a prudent time.
Review the status of conformity of each of the service stages of Shipping Agency through the Service Checklist.
Supervise that the information of the operations of the ships has been transmitted to the people involved and to the time established by the company.
Review each record of the services before being sent to prepare final account.
Evaluate suppliers for the supply of services or products requested by customers.
Represent the company in case of absences of the General Manager only for maritime purposes (meetings)
Carry out any additional activity not contemplated in this Description that is assigned by its immediate supervisor.
