We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cashier-related duties and ensuring the smooth operation of our seven-day business.
Proven working experience as a Cashier or similar role in the food and beverage industry
Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of cashier best practices and relevant laws and guidelines
Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers
Scan goods and collect payments
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
Redeem stamps and coupons
Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments
