The position shall cover the following areas:
The Marketing Assistant’s responsibilities include assisting in all aspects of the Marketing Department operations, including, administrative duties, conducting marketing research and analysis, social media management, coordinating radio and television advertisements coordinating charity events and donations, and managing VIP customer database.
Job Requirements/Specifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
At least five (5) subjects CXC, inclusive of Grade one (1) or two (2) in Mathematics and English.
Experience: At least one (1) year experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
Administrative Duties
1.Undertake daily operation and administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department.
2.Log and File all incoming and outgoing correspondences such as donation & sponsorship requests, client invoices, etc.
3. Provide management aid for various tasks relevant to marketing such as minutes of meetings, writing out notes, memorandums, and agreement
4.Liaises with all Team Leaders for marketing-related communication and information.
Social media management, graphic design:
Writing and preparing press releases, photo releases, and online content
Manage, Moderate, and help to drive online traffic with web-related campaigns for the company website and social media pages
Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
Support marketing and company executives in organizing various projects
Coordinate with the videographer and senior graphic artist for completion of tasks.
Assist with the development of product catalog/flyers/newsletters
Give support in making media plans, proofing, and moving creative/marketing materials
Assist in supervising the internal booking, log, and monitoring of Digital, Indoor, and Outdoor Advertising.
Coordinating Charity Events and Donations
1. Assist in the planning, implementation, and execution of company charity activities.
