Description

Distribution Services Limited (DSL), a subsidiary of Demerara Distillers Limited and Subsidiaries (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience to fill the post of Finance Supervisor.  

Requirements

  • A Diploma from a recognized University in Accountancy or CAT qualification

  • Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Successful applicant must be willing to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide guidance to clerical staff on a daily basis with the aim of ensuring that tasks are completed as per deadline

  • Ensures that all transactions relating to specific fiscal period are accurately accounted for.

  • Review of monthly schedules, processing of accounts payables and daily banking transactions.

  • Performs account reconciliation activities on a periodic basis.

  • Updates the Company’s software in relation to creating new vendors, products and pricing.

  • Addresses financial issues for both internal and external stakeholders.
