Our Subsidiary company, Industrial Supply of Guyana Inc. is recruiting for a Delivery Driver.
At least four (4) CXC Subjects.
Valid Driver's License.
At least five (5) years’ experience in the class of car and van: License in lorry class would be an asset.
Excellent oral and written skills are required.
Experience in customer service and sales would be an asset.
Maintain the company vehicle daily and complete safety checklist.
Liaise with departments and manager for all office errands and deliveries.
Pack the vehicle with the Delivery Clerk and Warehouse Clerk for delivery.
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean.
Log all delivery or office errands in the log book for manager to approve.
Assist the Delivery Clerk to offload the vehicle for customers' deliveries.
Ensure the vehicle documents are in order.
Assist with warehouse deliveries when there is no work to be done on the road.
Obey all traffic rules.
Machinery Corporation of Guyana Limited (MACORP) was founded in 1993 by GECOLSA a well known CATERPILLAR dealer in South America with operations in Colombia, Bahamas and some other countries with related businesses.
