Our Subsidiary company, Industrial Supply of Guyana Inc. is recruiting for a General Clerk.
At least five (5) subjects CXC, inclusive Math & English.
Certificate in Fitter and Machinist from a Technical Institution
At least one (1) year relevant experience.
Experience with parts will be an asset.
Able to operate a forklift and hose press.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadline.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
Receive stock into warehouse with relevant document and check off with security.
Ensure stocks are in correct locations & updated in the software.
Obtain customer invoice to pick parts from warehouse.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Maintain seal materials.
Build machine seals using the SKF seal jet CNC machine.
Maintain the seal room daily and all tools and equipment.
Send weekly report to Operations Manager for seal sales.
Machinery Corporation of Guyana Limited (MACORP) was founded in 1993 by GECOLSA a well known CATERPILLAR dealer in South America with operations in Colombia, Bahamas and some other countries with related businesses. MACORP was established by being awarded by CATERPILLAR as the only Authorized Caterpillar Dealer in Guyana. The bid of MACORP was selected from several other Companies’ bids. Companies with long and proven experience as dealers of CATERPILLAR and other manufacturers’ product line of heavy equipment. In 2018, MACORP celebrated 25 years of service to Guyana.
