Basic knowledge of coffee
Must be able to operate a Point of Sale System.
Bilingual will be an asset.
Prepare the coffee shop for opening or closing.
Take orders, receive payments and issue receipts.
Operate espresso machine to create the perfectly brewed hot/cold coffee.
Follow recipes and preparation techniques to make beverages/memorize drink ingredients and specifications.
Develop a customer-centric relationship and remember favorite beverages of regular customers.
Serve food and beverages and ensure customers have access to napkins, cutlery and all required items.
Clear and clean counters and tables. Ensure the shop is in a neat and hygienic state at all times.
Check that the coffee machines function perfectly, clean equipment, check inventory, restock shelves and coolers.
Study and review procedures to boost quality results, notify the manager of any concerns.
Grow sales by introducing consumers to goods and services of superior quality.
Deja Brew is a local coffee shop/cafe scheduled to open in January, 2024.
